Hey could you make your next post about what Pan africanism is? I heard about a similar term called Pan Islamism as well.I think they may have the same connotations.. wondering..

Who we are:

Itumeleng Makgetla is a graduate from Stellenbosch University in South Africa where he received a BA in Political Science and History. He is a proficient Speaker of English, Mandarin, Isixhosa, seSotho and setswana. He obtained his matric certificate from South African College School (SACS) where he served as prefect and chairman of the Christian Union and the head of the Habitat for Humanity in 2003, providing affordable housing for the ‘Low Income Bracket’ citizens. Furthermore, his endeavours to countries such as Great Britain, Mozambique and Lesotho inspired his ambitions to contribute in the field of Politics as well as Philosophy. As president of the Black Students Association (BSA), he gained experience in speech presentation and writing. He also acquired extensive knowledge and experience with regards to the South African restorative justice system

Pheello Mofokeng is an aspiring film director and political scientist from the Free State Township, Qwa-Qwa. He is currently honing his skills and knowledge at the University of Cape Town where academic and creative projects have provided him experience of doing extensive research and analysis of controversial topics. His involvement as a senior member of the African Affairs society while in High School and as a member of some student organizations since 2008, offer experience and platform for debate and critical analysis of information. He is currently in his 2nd year of B.A. political science and Film degrees. However, he did take a year to travel Kenya and the United Kingdom where the contrast of lifestyle and demographics in the two countries propelled his desire to participate in research of democracies, revolution and African politics. He has been involved in various independent productions and videography projects which continue to provide valuable experience in the filmmaking industry.

Anne-Britt Rage is an artist and co-operator based in Oslo. She is educated at Oslo and Vienna Academy of Fine Arts where she has initiated workshops and collaborative projects. Her works deal with xenophobia, nationalism and feminism through performance, videos, installations and books. She has a BA in political science and history of ideas from the University of Oslo. She is one of the initiators and administrators of the xeno.no project. She works in the curatorial team at Sound of Mu (www.soundofmu.no) in Oslo and from autum 2008 she will be connected to the Peace Research Institute of Oslo and Stellenbosch University in South Africa.
